“Parlour Acoustic”

This project is my second complete acoustic guitar. The vision is a parlour style acoustic guitar, with the body meeting the neck at the 12th fret. Originally envisioned as a 3/4 scale, this instead makes use of the 24.625″ scale found on many Gibson instruments. This guitar, when finished, will be a perfect traveling guitar due to it’s small size, but I honestly expect it to pack quite a punch in volume. “Midnight Rider”

Midnight Rider has been in the works for quite some time. The notebook sketch goes back to early 2016, and the main portion of the body has been ready since just shortly thereafter. All mahogany, with a Wenge Fretboard, and a beautiful vine motif inlay, she is working on becoming simply stunning. I expect to finish this up in the first quarter of 2019, equipping the beautiful body with Bigsby Tremolo bridge, and a pair of P-90s.
